Nine teams of three played today in the Seniors 123-Waltz strokeplay competition. The winning team with a score of 130 were Richard Hook, Gordon Turner & Mike Workman. Six strokes further back were runners-up Bob Evans, Sian Soanes & Richard Aldred followed by John Clark, Derrick Perrin & Geoff Denner (137).

Birthdays this week for Richard Hook and Roy Whiting who kindly supplied random wine prizes which were given to Colin Cox, Sandy Deacon, Harry Jackson, Les Eden, John Day and Barry Heath.
