Runners up were Jeremy Twaits & Dave Wallin on 68. Third place went to Mike Miller & John Baron who narrowly beat Jason Allum & Phil Knight on count-back after both returned nett 69.

October Medal

It had to happen sooner or later ... the weather was awful this morning!! Looking out the window now, we should have played the medal this afternoon!! Well done to the fifteen players who all showed up today, even if some of us didn't quite complete our rounds. The medal was played in two mixed divisions with the men off the white tees.

Division one winner was Andrew Mead who just beat John Day on count-back after both scored 77. Third place went to John Butcher two shots further back.
Full details - click here.

In Division two, Jason Allum was the winner with a very creditable nett 70. Mike Miller was runner-up on 73 followed by Dean Butler (75).

The two's pool has been accumulating over the last three months with none of the entrants able to manage a two. Today there was just one 2 scored!! John Butcher was the one to scoop the jackpot with an excellent two on the long par 3 17th.

This was the final strokeplay medal of the season and concludes the Owen Millennium Trophy and Summer Medal Aggregate competitions. Jeremy Twaits wins the Owen Millennium Trophy with a score of 333. Runner-up was John Day (338). The Summer Medal Aggregate competition was won by Jason Allum on 280 followed by Dean Butler on 283. For full details of both competitions, please click the links below.
