November Medal

The first of the four monthly winter medals was played today. These are still qualifiers but are played as Stableford off the yellow tees for men.

Division 1
It's been a long wait since his last success in a medal (10 years+), but Gordon Souter was the winner today with 35 points. One point further back was Roger Tillet who just beat Ian Folwell on countback. Fourth place was again decided on countback with Dave Warwick finishing just ahead of Richard Mead. Division 2
Only a five year wait since his last medal success for Geoff Denner who won today with a creditable 41 points. Josh Wallin claimed second spot on 39 points followed by Andrew Moore and Rowland Barnfield who were separated on countback after both carded 37 points. Full result - click here.

Division 3
Not such a long a wait for Patrick Brind who today won his third medal in the last twelve months with a score of 37 points just edging out Nick Turner on countback after both scored 37 points. Matthew Atkins secured third place with 34 points. Full result - click here.

Ladies
Yet another close contest for the ladies this month with Cilla Osgood just beating Sam Whiting on countback to win the medal on 35 points. Third place went to Kim Richardson on 31 points. Full result - click here.
